Fees & Payment

Dr. Elam's fee for an initial psychological consultation in her office is $115. Subsequent sessions and phone consultations are $100 per hour, pro-rated for longer or shorter sessions ($50 for 30 minutes, $150 for 90 minutes, etc.) Fees for other services (Kathara, craniosacral therapy, etc.) as well as consulting, teaching, supervisory, and speaking services will be specified before the service is provided.

Fees are due at the time of the session. Clients who no-show for sessions or cancel sessions without 24 hours' notice are responsible for paying for the time reserved.

Please note that different charges and payment arrangements apply to coaching as compared to psychological consultation, bodywork, or therapy. (For more about coaching, click here.)

Dr. Elam does not accept/file insurance or work with managed care companies. In some cases where appropriate (such as for some psychotherapy), she can provide a statement that clients can file with their insurance companies if they wish.
